YOUR library has Chromebooks and Hotspots available for checkout.
To be eligible to checkout these helpful technology devices you will need to

Have a Trenton Veterans Memorial Library card that is in good standing

Be 18 or older and have a valid credit or debit card

Fill out a Lending Agreement each time you borrow one of these devices
What is a Chromebook?
A Chromebook is a laptop device that uses the ChromeOS operating system, which is based on the Google Chrome web browser. You can use a Chromebook to do just about anything you would normally do online; checking your email, reading websites, watching videos, online classes and meetings etc.
Chromebooks are available to checkout, and are also available for in-library use. Please ask for a Chromebook at the Reference desk.
What is a Hotspot?
A portable WiFi hotspot is a pocket sized mobile router, which you can take with you setup an internet connection. With the signal that the hotspot creates, you can connect your smartphone, tablet and laptop to the internet. This will enable you to set up your own private internet connection. Perfect for mobile workers and travelers.

Additional Information

Chromebooks checkout for 1 week with the possibility of renewing 2 times (an additional week for each renewal).

Hotspots checkout for 3 weeks and cannot be renewed.

Late fees for Chromebooks and Hotspots are $1.00 per day that the item is overdue.

Devices will be deactivated if not returned by due date (effective the day after device is due).

Patrons are responsible for costs associated with loss or damage of these devices and the item(s) that are checked out out with them (charging cable, adapter, case).

Replacement for a lost or damaged Hotspot is $100.00.

Replacement for a lost or damaged Chromebook is $200.00
