Library of Things
A Library of Things is a collection of objects that expand the boundaries of traditionally defined library materials.
Our Library of Things is now located next to the circulation desk where the YA Section used to be (the YA Section has moved to the back of the library).
General guidelines for borrowing from our Library of Things:

Borrowers must have a valid library card from a library in The Library Network that is in good standing

Holds placed on Things must be picked up at the Trenton Veterans Memorial Library

Things must be checked out and returned to the Trenton Veterans Memorial Library circulation desk (not left in drop boxes)

A Thing will be returned to the library in the condition that it was borrowed, with all pieces and parts accounted for. If an item requires cleaning, it will be cleaned before being returned.

Designated items may only be borrowed by patrons 18 years or older. Items will be noted in this manner and are designated as such for safety reasons.

We are very excited to be building this collection for our patrons. Some 'things' that might be found in a Library of Things collection might include tools, gardening equipment, electronics, toys and games, science kits, craft supplies, musical instruments, recreational equipment and more. Perhaps something you would use for one-time project, or something you'd like to try before you buy?
We want to know what "things" you would like to see in YOUR collection. Suggestions can be submitted via email just click "Contact Us" and please type "Library of Things Suggestion" into the Subject heading. We also have a Suggestion Box located in our Library of Things collection. We look forward to hearing your suggestions!
