Library of Things
A Library of Things is a collection of objects that expand the boundaries of traditionally defined library materials.
Our Library of Things is located next to the circulation desk near the Adult Fiction Section.
General guidelines for borrowing from our Library of Things:

Borrowers must have a valid library card from a library in The Library Network that is in good standing

Holds placed on Things must be picked up at the Trenton Veterans Memorial Library

Things must be checked out and returned to the Trenton Veterans Memorial Library circulation desk (not left in drop boxes)

A Thing will be returned to the library in the condition that it was borrowed, with all pieces and parts accounted for. If an item requires cleaning, it will be cleaned before being returned.

Designated items may only be borrowed by patrons 18 years or older. Items will be noted in this manner and are designated as such for safety reasons.

Designated items may only be borrowed by patrons 18 years or older and will require the borrower to fill out a Lending Agreement. Items will be noted in this manner and are designated as such for both safety and financial reasons.

Items that require a Lending Agreement checkout for 3 weeks with no renewals and have fines of $1.00/day

Board games and S.T.E.M. items checkout for 1 week with the possibility of 2 renewals. Fines are $0.20/day

Video Games checkout for 1 week with the possibility of 2 renewals. Fines are $1.00/day

All other items that do not fall into the above mentioned categories checkout for 3 weeks with a possibility of 2 renewals.
